Progress I am happy to report that I've done well this week. It's been refreshing to feel in control of things. I am not letting my guard down, though. I know I am just one snack cake away from a train derailment, and I am not going to go there without a fight! |

Good for you.
I got mad at someone Monday who was being very rude to the group of people I was with. I let her vent and then I said" That's a crazy way to talk to people. She was really surprised and, dripping with sarcasm, said "well thank you very much."
I said "you're welcome."
I felt soooooo much better! LOL.
Good for you, that's what I say.
I have been struggling with the emotional eating for a bit now. Sometimes the urge is so strong... good for you for not caving in. I know how hard that can be. And it is nice to feel in control, isn't it? And to know how much you have eaten in a day, and how much more you can have. It takes away all the guess work... Keep up the good work! I am cheering for you.
Good for you! Emotional eating is the toughest habit to break! Way to go!
Wow so proud of you! I like to eat to drown my emotions away but yes, there is the feeling of guilt. You did so well!
I love what you said, "I know I am just one snack cake away from a train derailment, and I am not going to go there without a fight!" That is so true of a lot of us. You are doing so good, and growing stronger in your determination. Keep it up and the world will get to see that beautiful (and hot) Grandmother that you are.
