I am happy to report that I've done well this week. It's been refreshing to feel in control of things. I am not letting my guard down, though. I know I am just one snack cake away from a train derailment, and I am not going to go there without a fight!

Some things I've found. Special K- Protein Water is no points and does take the edge off hunger. I was impressed. Those Chex Mix- Turtle Bars have been a lifesaver at only 2 points.

I've had one iced coffee this week, and it fit nicely into my points that day. Otherwise, I've been drinking lots of water and a few diet sodas.

Had a family drama happen yesterday that involved my sister and a cousin. I tried to stay neutral until that cousin attacked me, as well. Then, I let it fly. I was so upset at one point that my first thought was to run to the kitchen. I refused to move from my desk chair. I fought that urge and would not give in to the desire to bring comfort from food. Instead, I rode the wave of emotions and sipped on my water. Having to deal with the emotions was not easy, but in the end I didn't also have the added guilt of emotional eating to tend to.
