about Weightcircles

Weightcircles is a free online community for people who want to lose weight or keep it off. Your Weightcircle will be other members who have similar weight loss goals and challenges. You can join one or many "weightcircles".

How it works

  1. Create a Profile- tell others about you & your weight control goals
  2. Join Circles - find other members with similar interests and goals
  3. Give & Get Encouragement - leave comments to motivate others, and they'll do the same for you!
  4. Share Tips - post your best weight control tips, and read other member's tips. When you find one you really like, mark it as a favorite to show it on your page.
  5. Invite Friends - invite your friends to cheer you on
  6. Create Circles - make a new circle for your friends or based on a theme
  7. Browse Products- rate & review products that can help you lose weight

Why it works


Studies show that people are more likely to meet their weight loss goals if they belong to a support group.
  • Accountability - ask friends to join you on the site, and tell them your goals so they can cheer you on when you succeed
  • Encouragement - check the site often, especially when temptation calls. Reading about other's success is a powerful motivator. Don't forget to leave comments to encourage them, too!
  • Ideas - not sure how to handle certain situations? Search tips to get ideas that have worked for others, and don't forget to add your tips as well
  • Endurance - blogging about your weight loss journey keeps you going over the long haul
  • Inspiration don't be afraid to post "before" pictures - you'll be so proud to post "after" pictures as you get slimmer, and your success will inspire others!
