A little bit turned into a lot! Hello everyone! I am so excited about joining WeightCircles! My name is Bethany, and I live in Tennessee. I am 31 yrs. old, and I have a wonderful fiance named Jay. I never thought that I would allow myself to get into the shape I am. When I was younger, I was always the "big" kid in class, and as I got older I kept telling myself that I was NEVER going to be THAT big. Well, a bunch of fries and 20 years later, here I am. I am so tired of allowing myself to live this way. Now, I am not saying that I am wanting to be America's next Kate Moss, I just want to be me...the me that lives inside. I am my own worst enemy and I truly believe that within the next few years, if I do not take control, my life will be over before I ever let it begin. Wow, this was supposed to be a simple intro, but my how the tears have started. I have motivation, I just need help maintaining it! |

Hi and welcome!
What's your "plan of attack" with diet and exercise? :)
Hey and thanks for reading my blog! :)
I plan on walking, dancing, swimming, anything to get me moving! LOL
I have had success in the past by calorie counting, and the reason I failed is because I became lazy with journaling. Once that happened, I became lazy in all areas. Do you have any suggestions??
Hello and welcome! You'll find that this is a GREAT place for motivation, support and guidance! Good for you on wanting to be healthier for yourself! Good luck and keep up posted on the progress!
Hey Bethany,
make yourself a work out schedule, write it down, and set aside a time or times that you will work out. Like every morning after I make my kids breakfast, I do my shake weight video and after my kids nap time, we all go for a walk. Biggest problem I experienced was setting my work out goal way too high. Just start off slow and slowly increase your work outs and lenghth each week or two. They say it take 2 weeks for something to become a habit. I actually am starting to enjoy working out, well except jogging, but I'll get there. Post your workout plan and hold yourself accountable. You will feel more accomplished once you see all that you have done because everthing adds up,even going grocery shopping and cleaning (extra calories burned without really feeling like working out). You can do it and you have support! =) Good luck!
Hello, Bethany and WELCOME! YOu've come to the right place if you are looking for motivation! I signed on about 6 weeks ago, and I totally love the way blogging has motivated me to make a go of weight loss again!
I look forward to reading about your future progress, and being part of your support system!
